What are the minimum system requirements to fully enjoy the site?

How do I shut off the audio player on the site?

Click on the pause (||) button on the imeem audio player.

How do I Cancel My Account?

Team Whit can delete your account for you. Of course, we'll be sorry to see you go.

1. Send us a request to delete your account via Comments/Suggestions or Private Message. *Be sure to include your username and/or email on the account.

How do I Comment on news, videos and blogs?

1. Log In or Register
2. Click 'Comments' by the News item, Video and/or Blog you want to comment on
3. Click 'Add Comment'
4. If a comment hasn't been posted yet, click 'Add New Comment'
5. If you want to Reply To a Posted Comment, click 'Reply' by the comment you want to reply to

How do I edit my Account Settings?

1. LOG IN or SIGN UP
2. Click on 'My Account'
3. Click 'Edit'
4. Choose 'Account Setting'
5. Edit your Location (address), E-mail address, Password, Profile Picture, Private Message settings, Signature and/or Contact settings.

How do I edit my Personal Information?

1. LOG IN or SIGN UP
2. Click on MY ACCOUNT
3. Click EDIT
4. Click PERSONAL INFORMATION and then edit your full name, date of birth, gender and/or zip code.

How do I invite my friend(s) to the site?

1. LOGIN or REGISTER
2. Click on 'INVITE NEW FRIENDS' in your Member Menu
3. Type the e-mail address of the person you would like to invite along with an optional message
4. Click SUBMIT

How do I register for a free Basic Account to the WhitneyDuncan.com community?

1. Click the Join Now! button in the LOGIN area on the home page
2. Once you enter the requested information
3. Click the CREATE NEW ACCOUNT button
4. You will then recieve a confirmation e-mail to ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT. (*The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you entered in the registration page.)
5. Follow the instructions on the confirmation email to Activate Your Account.

Your account will be activated after you complete these 5 quick & easy steps.

How do I send and receive Private Messages?

1. Login or register
2. Click "Private messages" in your Member Nav Menu. this will take you to your Inbox (received private messages)
3. Click 'Write A New Message' to send a message to a member.
*You can also send a Private Message by clicking on the Name and/or Profile Picture of member in 'WHO'S ONLINE'. This will open their user profile. Click 'Send Message' under their profile picture/icon.
4. Click the "Sent Message link to view your sent messages

How do I use My Blog?

Go to your blog:
1. Login or Register
2. Click 'My Blog' in your member nav menu.

Post New Entry:
1. To post new blog entry, click 'Post New Entry'
*Members can read your blog via your Account Profile.

Edit Entry:
1. Click on the title of the blog entry and then click 'Edit'

Delete Entry:
1. Click on the title of the blog entry and then click 'Delete'

How do I use my Member Nav Menu?

Your Member Nav Menu appears after you log in. It's where you can access everything you get with your free basic account.
1. Log in
2. Your Member Nav menu will appear where the log in box originally was.
3. We've posted instructions on how to use everything in the Nav Menu in 'Help'. If we missed anything or if you need additional help, please contact Team Whit via Comments/Suggestions or Private Message.

How do I use the Location Map in My Account settings?

1. LOG IN or SIGN UP
2. Click on MY ACCOUNT
3. Click EDIT
4. Click LOCATION MAP
5. Use the arrows in the upper left corner of the map to click your Country
6. Click on your state with your mouse or cursor
7. Click on your city/town with you mouse or cursor

How do I view other members' Blogs?

1. Login or Register
2. Click on member's name or profile picture/icon in WHO'S ONLINE and/or on COMMUNITY. (This will open their user profile.
3. Click "Read my blog" under the member's profile picture/icon

I never received my Confirmation eMail after Registering?

Please check your Spam box – the email may have gone there, or you may have entered the wrong email address The confirmation e-mail was sent to the address you entered on the registration page.

I registered but cannot Log In. It keeps saying Access Denied?

1. Make sure that you are entering your password with the correct capitalization. The system is case sensitive, so you must enter your password exactly as you did when you registered.
2. Try logging out of the site. clear out your cookies and cache in your web browser tools and then Log In again. This should clear the problem.

Is Whitney a Community Member? Does she have a Profile?

Yes, Whit is a registered member of the community. You can visit her Profile, read her Blog and send her a Private Message.

2. Click 'SEARCH' in the footer on every page of this site.
3. Click 'USERS' tab
4. Keyword: Whit
5. Click 'Whit' in 'Search Results'
6. Check out her Profile, read her Blog and send her a Message. *She will try and reply to as many Private Messages as possible.

What do I get with a free basic account?

You can write your own blog, send private messages to other members, comment on news and blogs, vote in polls, and sign up for Whitney's E-mail list.

What if I forgot my password?

1. Click 'Forgot Your Password?" in LOGIN section of the Home Page
2. Enter your Username or e-mail address
3. Click 'E-Mail New Password'
4. You will get an e-mail with a new one-time-use password sent to your email address. Click on the link in that email and you will land on your profile page – enter a new password and you’re done!
