Friday night Opry Debut, Monday night ASCAP Awards and Whitsday Wednesdays

HEY everybody! Thanks to my fans that came up with Whitsday...in case you don't know they changed Wednesday to Whitsday...lol. Seriously, I think my fans are the coolest people ever!!!

Friday night was my Grand Ole Opry Debut!!! I had so much fun...it was definitely a night to remember! My whole family was there (except my brother, he had to work). They all got to come backstage to see my dressing room. I sang "Skinny Dippin'" & "Little By Little". Yes, I was nervous, and I don't normally get nervous. John Conlee introduced me & brought me out on stage ( I love his voice). I got my picture taken with him & Little Jimmy Dickens (he is adorable)!! Keith Anderson was also there...love that guy! MY AWESOME FANS (which really seem more like friends) showed up with a ton of gifts for me!! I really appreciate everything ya'll do for me...thank you so much. After I performed, I went to the Kings Of Leon show!!!! OMG. One of THE best shows I've ever seen. My new favorite band!!!

Monday night was the ASCAP Awards (which is where they honor the songwriters). I think it is wonderful, because without great songs there would be no artists. Plus, I got to see all my friends! Love & Theft, Chuck Wicks, Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler, Keith Anderson, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, John Rich were just a few of the artists that were there. Matter of fact, I ended up in the Tennessean newspaper yesterday in a pic with John Rich & Connie Bradley (Pres. of Ascap).

Thanks for all the support! Please keep calling the radio stations to request "Skinny Dippin'". It hit #17 on Music Row Charts last week & keeps climbing on Billboard & Mediabase too, but really need ya'lls help! Ya know...I think I'm going to do a Whitsday Blog every week.
